The purpose of the budget and finance committee is to prepare a budget of the estimated receipts and expenses for the upcoming fiscal year and advise the association on all financial matters.
Chicagoland IIA is an organized local affiliate of the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois (IIA of IL). The mission is to advocate on behalf of independent insurance agents throughout Cook County and to bring relevant content to members through professional development, education, and networking opportunities. The overall goals are to inspire, innovate and align members, foster a strong presence and create long-term prosperity for Chicagoland independent insurance agents.
The education committee works to research, develop, and promote education and training programs for agents and their employees throughout the state.
A division of the IIA of IL, the FAC works to promote the common interests of independent farm insurance agents throughout Illinois by improving business conditions for the members and offering educational programs covering topics relevant to farm insurance. The government relations committee assists in developing a long and short-term legislative agenda as part of the association’s overall political advocacy program.
The planning & coordination committee works to develop long-range goals and objectives for the IIA of IL and recommend a time table for achievement of these goals.
The mission for the technology committee is to be a hub of information for IIA of IL members on agency workflow technologies to enhance productivity, sales & marketing, service, and security.
The young agents committee works to develop programs and activities directed toward the young insurance professional, under the age of 41 or with less than 5 years in the business with the intent to involve this segment of the membership in IIA of Illinois activities.
